Perfect size for cupcakes

I bought this for my cupcake business and it has been great. I have never used it for ice cream, but for cupcakes it gives me a perfectly sized scoop and helps keep my cupcakes more consistent.

Best one I've owned so far. My Farberware was 15 yrs old, still good.

Smooth mechanism, easy to use. Sturdy, tad heavier, if you compare to other good ones. It's 100x's better than the KitchenAid that I also bought, which was hard to use because it stuck halfway thru the "squeeze". Why the 4 stars? Because I never read the glowing 5 star reviews. Maybe you don't either.
